Our special Twilight re-casting series continues right now. Jasper Hale is next on our list. Hey guys! You’ve reached another episode of Clevver TV’s re-casting series and I’m Dana Ward. Today we’re going through the list and audition hopefuls from before Twilight got made and we’re making the role of Jasper up for grabs. It might be insane to put the actually casted Jackson Rathbone to the side, but we’re doing it nicely, just to open up the spot for another actor. So we’re asking you, just for fun, who would you re-cast for the role of Jasper? While most online followers peg Jackson as being the best Jasper and absolutely perfect for the role, there was still a good number of Twilight fans who said he just doesn’t seem exactly as described in the book series. Specifically, people said Rathbone seems too short for the more than 6-foot tall character and that he just seems too young – even though he’s technically older than the vampire. What do you think about this analysis? And there was even talk that J-R was a finalist to play edward cullen – would that have been a better fit for the actor? Well, getting back to the re-casting, here at Clevver TV, we straight-up asked you for your favorite replacement and here’s what you came up with. Chad Michael Murray got picked by viewers to play the vampire Cullen brother. Apparently, Chad’s natural charisma that comes across on-camera seems to be a good fit for the ex-Confederate soldier who used that same charisma to quickly move up the ranks. Plus, Murray’s a looker who could easily play the character as Jasper’s described as a handsome, intimidating soul in the book. What do you think? Another lead pick for the vampire role is Lucas Till. His youth and boyish good looks were reasons. I mean, he can definitely do the whole 20-year-old age thing as well as the pale skin, gold eyes and blonde hair, but do you think that he can pull-off the lack of self-control, what Jasper suffers from? Also getting a few mentions and it doesn’t surprise me simply because he’s quite popular in Young Hollywood now is Zac Efron. I’m sure a bunch of Twilight fans would say that it’d be difficult to get past the Zac-ness of the actor in order to see Jasper as his character – what do you think? Plus, a younger Johnny Depp got named as a great Jasper, due to his excellent acting skills and mysterious ways. Unfortunately, the adopted Cullen character transformed at the age of 20, so it’s completely impossible, but still a good choice about 20 years ago! Interestingly, a bunch of people answered an older Depp for our re-casting series on Edward Cullen also. Some other honorable mentions include Dustin Milligan from ‘90210′ and Jared Padalecki from ‘Supernatural’. After hearing these potential Jaspers, who’s your top pick? Or do you have an even better actor to play the vampire role? Let us know your thoughts on this special Twilight re-casting series by leaving a comment below. And remember to always stop by Clevver TV for all of your twilight saga updates. I’m Dana Ward – thanks for watching the show – bye! Duration : 0:3:27 |

Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here in Beverly Hills talking about how Twi-fans are reacting to the CW’s new show “Vampire Diaries.” So did the show rip off Twilight or are angry viewers really entirely uninformed? It is time to set the record straight! Even though Twilight hit theaters before Vampire Diaries hit TV screens, the truth is that Vampire Diaries was a book way before Twilight was even a twinkle in Stephanie Meyer’s eye! Vampire Diaries was written by LJ Smith and published 14 years before Meyer’s first book in the Twi saga arrived on shelves. So now die-hard Vampire Diaries fans are actually flipping the switch on the entire scandal saying that Twilight is actually copying Vampire Diaries. So will there be a lawsuit or any other legal drama regarding the vampire overload-probably not! Attorneys say that the vampire-based plots are about similar ideas and not about copyright infringement. Well, we here at ClevverTV think that this is a perfect of example of the more the merrier! There are a lot of obvious similarities between the two entertainment hits, but can’t we just enjoy what each has to offer instead of arguing about which one is better? Since you guys know more than anyone out there, why not head on down to the comments section and fill us in on the differences and similarities between Vampire Diaries and the Twi-saga. And have any of you actually read Vampire Diaries? Give us your book review below. Thanks for making ClevverTV your choice for entertainment scoop-stick with us for all the latest breaking news. It’s time to re-cast the Twilight Series’ Bella Swan. Get ready right now! Hey guys! Coming to you from the Clevver TV headquarters, I’m Dana Ward with a special re-casting series. Okay, again, it might sound silly to bring this up NOW as the sequels are being produced pronto, but we’re asking who should we re-cast as the role of Bella Swan in the twilight saga. I mean, WHAT IF Kristen Stewart had passed on the project or something? Who would you choose to fill the role? Let’s figure it out right now. Right off the bat, a lot of Twilight blogs were wishing Australian actress Emily Browning would be officially named as the film-version of Bella. In fact, it pretty much seems like Browning was the next one in line. She’s about a year and some change older than Stewart, a few inches shorter and can definitely keep up with in the film and tv credits department. Some people have said Kristen seemed very uncomfortable throughout the movie, yet Bella’s character in the book is quite at peace with her introverted self and that Browning could better portray the character as she seems a bit more mature in her acting. What do you guys think about these two? Another possible actress that fans have named as possibly taking over for Stewart is Alexis Bledel. She’s known for her days on Gilmore Girls and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. With this choice, people have said that Kristen’s aloofness was too much in the twilight movie and that she didn’t seem wise or sweet. However, that Alexis captures all of those character features to the T. I gotta say that Bledel is 8 or 9 years older than Stewart. Does this make you change your mind on the re-cast? Emma Watson has also been named as being an excellent Bella Swan. I mean, even though she’s officially taking a break from the biz to go to university, I’m thinking she might put it off for one-year just to finish out a series – and one so big – especially after being a part of the ever-popular Harry Potter movies. That aside, do you think the British Watson would be a good fit for the role. Could she better capture the emotion and anguish of Bella – the same that many criticized Kristen for not fulfilling – as Edward says he’s leaving her? Let me know your thoughts. And lastly, some other actresses who got shoutouts from you guys include Victoria Justice, Jena Malone, Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood. Do you think that any of these people would perfectly fit the role of Bella Swan? Or do you have a better choice up your sleeve? Definitely let us know by leaving a comment. Remember, you have to pick ONE actress as your Bella Swan. Don’t forget to check out all of our Twilight videos here and at ClevverTV.com.
